Provides staff assistance and administrative support to the Deputy District Director Reviews and responds to correspondence via telephone, e-mail and regular mail Responsible for researching, compiling and tracking all data related to complaints or issues The position frequently coordinates processes and procedures within the Leadership Team and Vet Center operations, serving a resource liaison with RCS Centralized Human Resources Management Office The position is responsible for tracking performance appraisals, gathering EEO documents, evidence file documents, administrative investigation documents and procedures, and updating organizational charts, FTE position management reports, staff demographic reports, etc. as requested by supervisor Responsible for oversight of Talent Management System (TMS) accounts Develops action items to request and or process information, tracks suspense and reviews for accuracy Responsible for Deputy District Director calendar for master events, activities, appointments and leave Utilizes Microsoft Office Suite and other software tools. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
