Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required in order to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations.
The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with a focus on safety.
Essential Duties and Other
Responsibilities:
Responsibly follow all procedures & policies with regard to repairs & maintenance Responsible to complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient, and safe manner Ability to notify Maintenance Supervisor of any mechanical problems and assist with any repairs Experience with applied skills in plumbing and electrical Experience with steam boilers, air compressors and water heaters Projects and tasks may include, but are not limited to:
Industrial equipment repair and/or maintenance Construction type tasks (painting, patching holes, etc.
) Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job Position is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Position is regularly required to walk, sit, climb or balance, talk and hear Position is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The working environment is typical of an industrial facility including noise and vibration An employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration Shifts:
